| Not Paintings | > Keepsake

I have a box of memories. It holds trinkets and artefacts from the lives I have lived. I continue to add items to the box that I deem valuable, worth keeping, and worth documenting.

Periodically and without a schedule, I reexamine these keepsakes. Blindly, I document how I respond in the present. Then I add that response to the previous responses, hoping to understand how my sentiments and perceptions are shaped by time and circumstance.

The project started in 2016. 10 years later, I have a lot of data. Mood is shifted by global and personal experiences. New items get added every year. My memories fade, then I remember, or I don't. I look forward to more decades of data ahead.
